Shipping / Delivery Related:

This policy applies exclusively to Cal Pro Lighting Trade Program members, including licensed electricians, contractors, designers, and commercial buyers.

Ordering

When does my order start processing?

Orders begin processing as soon as they are submitted.

For in-stock items placed by 11:00 AM PST, processing may begin the same business day.

Once processing starts, orders cannot be changed or canceled

Why can’t I cancel or modify my order after checkout?

Trade Pro orders are picked, packed, and scheduled quickly to avoid job delays. Once an order enters processing, inventory is allocated and labor is committed, which prevents cancellations or changes.

When is my order considered “received”?

Your order is considered received when:

• The carrier confirms delivery
• Items are released via Will Call
• Local delivery is completed and confirmed

Delivery confirmation, tracking, or Will Call release records serve as final proof of fulfillment.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

You must contact us immediately to request changes or cancellations.

Orders that have entered picking, packing, shipping, or delivery scheduling status cannot be changed or canceled.

Shipping and delivery fees become non-refundable once processing begins.

Why do I need to acknowledge the shipping terms at checkout?

Because Trade Pro orders are processed immediately to meet jobsite timelines. By acknowledging the terms, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to our Shipping, Delivery, and Cancellation policies before placing your order.

What if there’s a problem with my order?

Shipments must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Shortages or visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims reported after 48 hours may be denied.

Are same-day shipping and delivery guaranteed?

No. All shipping and delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Timing may be affected by inventory verification, order volume, or operational factors.

Do you offer same-day local delivery?

Yes. Local next business day delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of our South El Monte warehouse.

• Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM PST
• Delivery is available Monday–Friday only, excluding public holidays
• Available for in-stock items only
• Same-day delivery orders are processed immediately

Once submitted, same-day delivery orders cannot be changed or canceled.

Pricing (Limited-Time Offer):

• FREE on orders over $500
• $49 flat fee on orders under $500

Are shipping and delivery dates guaranteed?

No. Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, jobsite access, weather, or operational constraints.

What if my shipment is delayed?

Shipping and delivery times are not guaranteed. Cal Pro Lighting is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, jobsite access issues, weather, or other factors beyond our control

P.O. Box Orders

Cal Pro Lighting does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Jobsite Delivery 

Who is responsible for jobsite delivery details?

Trade Pro customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including jobsite address, access instructions, and receiving contact.

Cal Pro Lighting is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details.

Will Call

Do you offer Same Day Will Call / in-store pickup?

Yes. Will Call is available for in-stock items only at our South El Monte, CA location.

 • Please allow up to 2 business hours for order preparation
 • You will receive an email or text notification when your order is ready
 • Order confirmation and valid government-issued ID are required.

 Once items are released at Will Call, the order is considered fulfilled and received.

Where is Will Call located and what are the hours?

How long will I have to pick up my order?

We'll hold your order for 5 days, so stop by soon!

How will I know when my order is ready for pickup?

 You will receive an email or text notification when your order is ready

Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

Use one of our convenient options to return any item purchased at Cal Pro Lighting.com

• Request for return be made WITHIN 30 days of receipt and items must be returned WITHIN 15 days of receiving RAN
• All returns are subject to 25% restocking fee
• No returns are accepted after 30 days
• All returns must be in original condition and packaging. Returns are subject to inspection prior to any credit or refund being issued.
• All shipping charges paid at time of order processing are non-refundable.
• Customers are responsible for the costs of shipping back any return items.
• Return Authorization Number (RAN) is required to return items. Please email or call us to get an RAN#

•  Any volume orders totaling more than $2,000.00
•  Any large quantity order of 12 pieces or more of the same product.

Loss & Damage

When does risk of loss transfer to me?

Risk of loss transfers to the customer:

• Upon carrier pickup for shipped orders
• Upon physical release for Will Call orders
• Upon delivery confirmation for local deliveries

Carrier tracking, proof of delivery, signed delivery, or Will Call release records serve as final proof of fulfillment.

What if items are missing or damaged?

Trade Pro customers must:

• Inspect shipments immediately upon receipt
• Report shortages or visible damage within 48 hours of delivery

Claims reported after 48 hours may be denied.

Billing & Charges

Can I file a chargeback if there’s a delay?

By placing a Trade Pro order, you agree not to file chargebacks related to:

• Delivery timing or missed windows
• Jobsite access issues
• Orders released via Will Call
• Carrier-confirmed deliveries

However, due to the large number of items offered on our website, there may be typographical errors or omissions such as those relating to product description, pricing and availability. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund.
